Majestic Recycled Urban Timber aims to use felled urban trees at the highest level of recycling: re-use. By using trees removed from the urban forest we redirect them from the chipper and/or the landfill to a higher use while preventing a forest tree from being cut. We employ Minnesota folks, putting money back into our local economy instead of supporting lumber imports from halfway around the world.
We reduce the carbon footprint embodied in each and every board foot processed and encourage a higher green standard that is easier to achieve for anyone who is willing to ask.
Trees are a renewable resource. But landscape mulch or firewood are the lowest forms of wood recycling. We aim higher. Sustainable harvest has a new look in the Twin Cities. Carpenters, artisans, homebuilders, and hobbyist woodworkers have a new source for local wood products: buy from Majestic Recycled Urban Timber.
